Pedagogical Aims

The European school of Munich aims to provide a high quality European Education to its pupils in an environment in which the welfare of all members of the school community is recognised and developed.

Included are the aims to foster, devlop, convey and provide:

Confidence in own cultural identity, and heritage, as the foundation for the development as European citizens and fostering intercultural co-operation

Creativity in music and in plastic arts

Physical skills through participation in sporting and recreational activities, and to promote the adoption of a healthy lifestyle

Media skills and content-related and technical skills in information and communication technology (ICT)

Professional guidance on career/university choices in the secondary school, and Counselling

A positive atmosphere and maintain an environment which encourages and enables each member of the school community to participate fully in the life of the school and to benefit from the experience.

Tolerance, co-operation, communication and concern for others throughout the school community system and beyond

Personal development both social and academic and to establish moral rationality as an integral part of the educational process

Cultivation of pupil’s development in terms of personality, social capabilities and knowledge and skills,including critical thinking, thus creating conditions for well-being and lifelong learning
