Autonomy-Pilot
At its Lisbon meeting, in April 2007, the Board of Governors decided to set up a pilot project on Governance and Autonomy in 3 schools. Munich was decided to be one of them (Brussels 1 and Bergen the others). The pilot schools have been charged with finding new ways to enhance Governance and Autonomy in the European Schools context. All three pilot schools will set up a “School Advisory Council” (SAC) which will function along with the statutory committees and meetings. The SAC is an experimental advisory body.
